On 21 October 2021, Seebrücke, the Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung and Heinrich Böll Stiftung will launch the result of the 'Moving Cities' project. This project includes research on 28 progressive and solidary cities in 10 European countries, highlighting their innovative approach to migration and integration. The aim of the project was to show a positive counter-example to the increasingly negative national migration policy at the local level. The result is the online platform Moving Cities, where everyone can find information and inspiration on how to organise a (local) migration policy. For Belgium, Eva Vandenhove, Liselot Casteleyn and Ellen Desmet designed a city profile of Ghent (that can also be read here).
